We've heard a lot recently about "teen takeovers" and how little blue city mayors like those in Chicago and Washington, D.C., are doing about them. One D.C. councilwoman argued that curfews were "dangerous" because they increased the chance of these teens interacting with big bad law enforcement. That's the whole idea. Stay home, and the police will leave you alone.
We've also been seeing street takeovers, in which young people get together to shut down a road so they can do burnouts with their cars. Fox News reported earlier this week that these morons had shut down I-75 in Florida, a state that isn't having that.
UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol troopers RUSHED IN and broke up a massive takeover of I-75, where over 100 cars did BURNOUTS and blocked the entire road

One of the criminals led police on a 140MPH PURSUIT, he got caught and booked on FELONY charges. pic.twitter.com/e0vHP9UFhs
Some say this video isn't recent, but it's going viral on Thursday and does depict a Georgia State Trooper showing how to deal with these street takeovers.
🚨 WATCH: A Georgia State Trooper plowed through a street takeover, pinned a truck, and sent the crowd scrambling in seconds.

Give that man a raise

Don’t toy with the GSP, the ASP, or the FSP. When you see them in your rear view, just stop and accept your fate.

And this is what happens when you raise kids with no consequences of their actions.

You raise idiots who endanger society.
That is one efficient cop. Plus, THAT is how you stop high speed chases. Cops not doing the PIT maneuver right off the get-go, is how innocent people get killed

Yeah, that’s BS.
Notice that the “kid” had no problem running people in the crowd over with a massive pickup truck to try and get away.
Lock that little sh!t up for a long, long time.
That cop is my newest favorite human.

Finally a cop that knows how to position his car in a pit. Even though low speed that was beautiful to watch.

What is recent is what's happening in Chicago, where a "community organizer" is arguing that community involvement could prevent these street takeovers.
A Southwest Side community organizer and a Chicago alderman are calling for action following a street takeover, saying community involvement, technology and infrastructure improvements could help deter similar incidents. https://t.co/ESkUhPgg1P

Handcuffs, arrests, convictions and jail time would work too.
