Iranian-born critic Sana Ebrahimi Ledene isn’t buying Michigan progressive Abdul El-Sayed’s post-primary pledge to treat Jewish safety with the same care he gives his own daughters, instead unpacking the comparison through the lens of traditional Islamic legal standards on women’s status, inheritance, testimony, and authority — and suggesting the Democrat’s reassurance may not land quite the way he intended.
