As Twitchy reported, what many initially reported as a shooter targeting the White House and Capitol turned out to be an unarmed mother and her 18-month-old child. Yes, shots were fired, but those shots were fired by police, and only police, and the one officer hurt was injured by a car. There’s really just no way to blame this on the Tea Party or the NRA, is there?
So, raise you hand if you weren’t expecting another gun control lecture from Piers Morgan tonight. Anyone?
