As Twitchy reported a couple of weeks ago, activist group GLADD came after the New York Times for its “irresponsible, biased coverage of transgender people” and demanded that the Times hire trans people as full-time writers and editors. You see, the Times had slipped up by publishing a piece about whether educators should tell parents when they’re transitioning their children at school … trying to “both sides” what is clearly good and evil.
Immediately after, a bunch of New York Times contributors sent the Times a letter of their own echoing GLAAD’s. Here’s CBS News’ totally unbiased former “abortion access” reporter and now full-time abortion activist:
