Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser slipped this tidbit into a thread about the coronavirus in general, but for some reason, this tweet has been getting the most attention. Bowser says that by February 15, all D.C. government employees must prove they are up-to-date with vaccinations, including the booster shot. But that’s not the tweet we’re talking about; rather, it’s the March 1 deadline for all school students age 16 and up to be vaccinated against COVID-19. And she means all school students: public, charter, private, and parochial.

Spreading disinformation. There is no fully approved vaccine available to the public. The only vaccines available are still under the Emergency Use Authorization, in other words everyone getting it is in on the trials.
