As we told you last night, Dems in Florida walked out of the confirmation hearing for Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo over this exchange where he refused to be bullied into answering a yes or no question on the complicated nature of vaccine effectiveness.

But a funny thing happened later on in the evening. . .
State Sen. Lauren Book later went on CNN to discuss the viral clip and Anderson Cooper basically admitted that Dr. Ladapo had it right after all:

"Vaccines did not show, over a certain period of time, effectiveness, which is certainly true over a long enough period of time…But phrasing it that way is a very strange way to phrase it when, in fact, the most direct answer is vaccines are very effective."
