Jennifer Rubin ekes out a win over last year's champion Brian Stelter in Comfortably Smug's #HackMadness bracket

It was a holiday weekend, so you might have missed the news that Comfortably Smug’s second annual #HackMadness bracket is down to the final two. In a very close vote, the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin eked out a narrow victory over last year’s winner, CNN’s Brian Stelter. Rubin dominated the “Liberal Activists” category, while Stelter brought it home for the “Fake News” category.

That takes us down to two, with CNN’s Chris Cuomo of the “Establishment” category earning a convincing win over Vox’s Aaron Rupar, holding it down for the “Way-Too-Online” quadrant.

We couldn’t choose between Rubin and Stelter, but we think Rubin has the edge over Cuomo — at least Cuomo hasn’t pretended to be a conservative.
