Unbelievable. According to spokesperson and deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, President Obama agrees with Joe Biden’s reprehensible “they’re going to put you back in chains” remarks given at a rally in Danville, Va., today. Meet the “new tone.” Civility for thee, but not for me, as always. Now with more slavery metaphors and American citizen demonizing!
on show @stefcutter says POTUS agrees with sentiments of Joe Biden's outrage – re: "put us back in chains"

On Biden's "Put us back in chains" remarks @stefcutter says "bottom line, we have not problem with those comments"

Citizens react with disgust … and snark, natch.
BACK in chains MT @jimgeraghty: Romney-Ryan: straight talk about how to save our entitlement system. Obama-Biden: THEY'LL PUT YOU IN CHAINS!

Hey, give Obama a break. He can no more disown Joe Biden than he can disown Jeremiah Wright.

Yeah, those Republicans are all about "chains." Now shut up and buy the products you're told to buy, or we'll tax the hell out of you.
