There is a segment of American society (Leftists) who are convinced Europe is wonderful and if they could just move overseas, life would be so much better. Then, there are people who have actually made the jump and well, they hate it.

They say leaving the United States and moving to a foreign country is awful. One particularly bad take was finding out things like AC and dishwashers are major luxuries in the UK and 'regular' people don't have them.
Or the lady that found the medical care was indeed 'free', but it was really bad. You have to wait FOREVER and then the care is not great. Oh, also Europeans hate Americans and they aren't very welcoming.

For those not in the know, the leader of Poland is right-wing to the max, like Trump on steroids, and the people are way, way more right wing.

I tell my family all the time there is plenty for me to see in the United States for this lifetime. Even in Florida, there are gorgeous beaches and that's good enough for me. I'll stay where I can get an English speaking attorney and a legal system where they mostly follow the law if something went wrong.
I had a friend who recently went to Mexico. Their plan was to stay on the resort property the whole time for safety reasons. On the way from the airport to the resort, they were stopped by police and they had to give them cash so they would not get arrested. No thanks.

Also, any American can get emergency healthcare. They may have to pay, but they'll give you a payment plan and it can't hurt your credit anymore even.
