The Detroit Free Press endorsed Abdul El-Sayed in a laughable article today. Also, this is your reminder, he is not an actual physician. He never completed his residency or has engaged in patient care. Democrats LOVE to call people who aren't ACTUAL 'Doctors', Doctor.
NEWS —> the Detroit Free Press has endorsed Dr. Abdul El-Sayed:
— Cole Wozniak (@ColeWozniak) September 27, 2026
“Everything you’ve heard about Michigan’s U.S. Senate race is true: An extremist is asking voters to send him to Washington, masking an agenda far out of step with Michigan's mainstream under the pretense of…
El-Sayed hates America and hangs out with people who hate America.
That they have to lie so desperately about why Hasan Piker is controversial and all but ignore El-Sayed’s history of antisemitism and terrorist apologia does not inspire confidence in the sincerity of this endorsement. https://t.co/xOxjPOvq71
— Varad Mehta (@varadmehta) September 27, 2026
If the endorsement can't even tell the truth about El-Sayed's beliefs, it's just fiction.
“Trained as a doctor” lol https://t.co/07sSPKkwhx
— Democrats For Mike Rogers (@DemsForMike) September 27, 2026
Which he didn't actually do. He skipped the actual hands-on training part.
According to the Detroit Free Press, the extremist is the person who did NOT excuse a terrorist attack and does not use proxies who say the US deserved 9/11. https://t.co/dar3HVSKQY

Certainly an interesting take.
Lol this is the most absurd endorsement piece ever - feels like a campaign defense of Abdul’s vulnerabilities.
— Matt Whitlock (@MattWhitlock) September 27, 2026
He’s a “capitalist?” Not according to his own family members or his healthcare plan.
“America first foreign policy?” The guy who mourned the death of the Ayatollah? https://t.co/dqTombSxzq
It's literally propaganda for his campaign with no basis in reality.
“El-Sayed has tapped into voters' frustration with a government that takes more from us, and delivers less.”
— Matt Whitlock (@MattWhitlock) September 27, 2026
Abdul’s answer?
A government controlled healthcare takeover that doubles your taxes to put you into waitlists for basic care - while outlawing your current plan. https://t.co/dqTombRZJS
Also, you won't be keeping your doctor.
Reads like Abdul’s consultant asked the editor if he intended to drive his usual car home. https://t.co/j9dGKJ9D4s
— Mike Fragoso (@mike_frags) September 27, 2026
El-Sayed does love to hang with terrorist sympathizers.
why do these cowards always block comments?
— Matthew Wilk (@mjwgoblue) September 27, 2026
it's not "news," it's opinion
and wildly misguided at that https://t.co/oKSwqhPAhQ
They know it's absolute slop. They don't want actual readers to have the option of responding. It's cowardice.
Nothing says, “I’m an unabashed capitalist” like having to say, “I’m an unabashed capitalist”
— Carl Paulus (@CarlPaulus) September 27, 2026
Right? An actual unabashed capitalist doesn't have to insist to everyone they are an unabashed capitalist.
“An unabashed capitalist who champions universal health care"
