In many ways, Senate candidates Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan and James Talarico in Texas are cut from the same cloth. Both claim to be running grassroots campaigns and say they want to get the money out of politics. Also, both are serial liars who are trying to cover up who they really are until the election takes place.
The Detroit News has endorsed Republican Mike Rogers and also noted how El-Sayed has been busy trying to cover his tracks:

Any candidate who has to convince voters he's a different person should never get any votes.
That brings us to El-Sayed preaching about the need to get money out of politics.

The Left has no problem with big money in politics as long as it's being sent their way. Talarico also went to California to raise money for his "grassroots campaign," all while telling Jimmy Kimmel that his donations come from "hard working Texans."
He won't take that corporate money, but he'll sure take that terrorist and communist money...
