Over the weekend, a post went viral of Taylor Swift cheering on her husband, football star, Travis Kelce. They are newlyweds and clearly in love and she is a giddy wife. For some reason, this infuriated half the Internet.

I'm not a huge fan of Taylor Swift. Sappy music isn't really my jam. I can respect her for her business savvy and she very clearly is an excellent entertainer. I can also give her props for being an adoring wife. We need more of that in the world.

Exactly! There are tons of videos of him showing up to her concerts, smiling ear to ear while she performs, and even joining her for performances. It's almost like these two are actually a really good example of a loving partnership. What a concept!

Also, as a mother of a son about to get married, I love that Taylor hugged her mother-in-law and they shared a moment of being proud of their guy. Young women need to see every mother-in-law is not a witch set on destroying their son's marriages, and some older women need to be encouraged to embrace their son's wife and treat her well. (I'm blessed in this regard and can vouch ... it makes life a whole lot sweeter. My son's future Mother-in-Law is wonderful to him as well and I thank Heavenly Father for that blessing daily).
It's worth studying how much of this is due to millennials and get z being propagandized to hate fathers and husbands through sitcoms that always depicted dad as dumb, or embarrassing, rather than honorable, wise, and courageous.

Kelce has worked hard to be very successful in his career. That takes a great deal of passion, endurance, commitment and hard work. Isn't that something we all want to see MORE of in young men today?

Brilliant. If you are currently engaged to be married and you can't see yourself happily and publicly lauding your new husband for some big achievement, perhaps that's not your man.
