Haley Stevens Lost the Senate Primary. Then She Became Michigan’s Most Charming Also-Ran

Haley Stevens may have lost to El-Sayed in the Democrat Senate Primary for Michigan, but she's still loving life and preparing to get married.

Rep. Haley Stevens tells me all about her engagement, her fiancée — and why she might even honeymoon in Michigan pic.twitter.com/xGXZqHvekY

She sounds more like the female 'Matt Foley' from the SNL skit all the time.

Some Michigan politicians would rather honeymoon in Cairo.https://t.co/YvjaxNTj2Z

Some Michigan politicians actually hate America.

I need to know if she's changing her name to Haley Turkish, do YOUR JOB TMZ!! pic.twitter.com/3dy8I3ovJn

She has to.

She really grew on me. I thought she was without charm but her awkwardness is her charm. She is likably weird

It's a shame Michigan didn't elect her over El-Sayed. Sigh.

This version of Haley Stevens coulda won

Now I 💕 Haley, but ya gotta live the guy who's willing to wake up next to that big voice and big personality every morning for the rest of his life!

I'm sure she's the perfect woman for him.

I can just imagine Jason getting dressed for court in the morning, preparing to...

He has to be just the right kind of guy.

This is really adorable. 😃
I didn't know she was so likeable.

For some reason, Michigan Democrats were too enthralled with the Islamist fake Doctor. Too bad.

Michigan is an incredible state to honeymoon in. Beautiful coastal beach towns, Mackinac Island etc.

Not according to El-Sayed.

Ask where she plans to land a no-show corporate gig after leaving office

Democrats tend to fail up.

she's not going to let an election get her down <3

You win some, you lose some.

Congratulations @RepHaleyStevens I wish you a long and happy marriage. Maybe the Tourism board needs help? The way you rep Michigan is heartening

That would be the perfect job for her. The Democrats don't deserve her.

She needs to be a host on the view. This is her destiny. We all need it https://t.co/xmJ6KHfIGe

It can't be any worse than the current lot.

It’s true my fiancé is an incredible human being❣️❣️ https://t.co/yJYWp2guG3

— Haley Stevens (@HaleyforMI) September 15, 2026

This is authentically great. Hard not to smile. https://t.co/MZV7UfH3lz

— Steven Law (@LawAmericanX) September 15, 2026

No idea what her future holds but hard to think of a recent primary loser who arguably is emerging more popular than before the loss https://t.co/ed8HYdBeaK

The Democrats chose poorly.
