Recently, Governor Ron DeSantis declared all driver's license exams would only be given in English in Florida. In the past, there were tests in a multitude of languages including Spanish, French and Haitian Creole. No more. All test materials are only in English and people seeking a license must speak and read it.
This Florida woman passed her driver's license test in Spanish but now has to retake it in English, the problem is she does not speak it....this is the best thing @RonDeSantis has done. No more free passes for tortas. pic.twitter.com/S2NBp5UF8o

Obviously, this has caused a great deal of controversy in Florida and across the United States. The Democrats can't wait to call this racist and xenophobic.
🚨 JUST IN: Non-English Florida speakers are now being FORCED to take the driver’s license test in ENGLISH Florida after the state switched to English only

This should be the STANDARD.
We are an English-speaking country.
COMMON SENSE.

It's important drivers in Florida are able to read signs in English. Our highways have many digital signs offering up to the date traffic information based on weather, attendance at large attractions, accidents, etc. During hurricanes, highways are often changed into one way roads to allow for the hordes to head out quickly in one way. Drivers must be able to read them for safety reasons.
#BREAKING The state of Florida will no longer offer driver's license exams in multiple languages, moving to English-only tests and not allowing translation services. https://t.co/qLQGa5IDyh pic.twitter.com/HoXCXABafE

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles announced that it will not provide driver’s license exams in other languages starting next month.
Starting Feb. 6, all driver’s license examinations will be held exclusively in English for all license classifications, including oral exams. “Previously, knowledge exams for most non-commercial driver license classifications were offered in multiple languages, while Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver License (CDL) knowledge exams were only available in English and Spanish,” an FLHSMV release stated. “Under the updated policy, all driver license knowledge and skills testing will be conducted in English.”
Far from being racist, this is only fair and in the best interest of all who drive in Florida. There has to be a standard.

"The policy [English only driver's license exams] could lead to more unlicensed drivers" - some sh*tlib
They don't want safer roads, they want to enable unsafe drivers to drive legally. https://t.co/ELVJjHCHAV
Specifically, they want illegals to be able to come into America and live like citizens.
Texas next.

Driver license tests in english only.
Currently, you can bring your own translator. that needs to be banned, too. https://t.co/sQoc8n9HaC
I know everyone is up in arms about this but there is a huge illegal driver problem here in Florida.

You get hit by one of these and they go “sorry sorry no papers no papers”. Guy speaks no English and now you’re paying for your car out of pocket.
It sucks.
If you hit me… https://t.co/7N2Vm9L1te
They get into accidents, have no licenses or insurance, and then victims are left with medical bills and on the hook for a new vehicle and jacked up car insurance premiums.
It's time to consider the law abiding citizens and what is good for them first.
