Brad Sherman is a Democrat Congressman from California. The other day he was on a plane and was caught with some 'ahem', questionable reading material.
Why did California Congressman Brad Sherman feel it was appropriate to look at porn on his iPad during a flight today? His district deserves better representation than this!! #CA32 pic.twitter.com/gAYZ82tyr2

Yikes!
I just did a 13-minute interview with Sherman regarding this @dearwhitestaff post https://t.co/M3vzIM01pS

So then, Sherman decided to do an interview about his 'indiscretion' to run cover.
2/ Sherman denied repeatedly that he was looking or pornography or has a problem with pornography.

Sherman said these photos came up in “Twitter feed” under the “For You” heading
That's not how the 'For You' tab works, Sherman. If you're getting that kind of material, you looked for or at that kind of material.
3/ Sherman: “This was on Twitter. These pictures came up on ‘For You.’”
— John Bresnahan (@bresreports) November 15, 2025
“I must’ve looked at more than 1000 posts” during his flight, Sherman said.
What kinds of posts, though?
4/ I asked Sherman if it was appropriate for a congressman to be looking at this openly on a plane.
— John Bresnahan (@bresreports) November 15, 2025
“Is it pornography? I don’t think Elon Musk thinks so.
“Is it appropriate? No.”
Since when is Elon the arbiter of morals for politicians? What a odd thing to say?
5/ Q. “Do you have a problem with pornography?”
— John Bresnahan (@bresreports) November 15, 2025
Sherman: “No, I don’t have a problem.”
Sherman said “It’s all about the algorithms,” and asserted these pictures came up in his feed “because of the algorithms.”
Right. It is all about the algorithms. That's very true. It feeds you more of what you view. It determines what you want to see from what you've looked at previously and finds more of it. That way, you stay on the app longer. That's the whole point. He's really just outing himself.
6/ Sherman: “If I see a picture of a woman, might I look at it longer than a sunset? Yeah.”
— John Bresnahan (@bresreports) November 15, 2025
He really should have stopped while he was ahead. This is getting worse and worse.
7/ Sherman: “If you have to fly across the country, you look at a lot of stuff on your tablet.”
— John Bresnahan (@bresreports) November 15, 2025

Many, many people fly cross country every single day and manage to not look at explicit materials. I would venture to say most people accomplish that feat.
How the For You feed works on X:https://t.co/UY9F7og40k

That's why I stopped interacting with Leftists on Twitter. Once you talk to one of them, all you get from then on is wacky progressive nutters and their bizarre tweets. No thanks.
“For You” is based on likes, reposts, and searches… pic.twitter.com/bWTrn6OHbx

He built that algorithm brick by brick!

1. If there’s enough of that on your for you feed you interact with it
— illucidz (@illucidz) November 15, 2025
2. One of the pictures he’s literally on one the pages scrolling
It’s not oh it popped up on my feed you were directly on the profile scrolling
Yes. In the second picture, he is on the profile of the 'performer' and it's not the 'For You' page. He intentionally clicked on it. She should get a privacy screen for his Ipad if he is going to partake in those pages in public. California is not sending its best.
