D.C. Crime: Moms vs. Media, Where Reporters Play Ostrich and Locals Dodge Bullets

Reading through X today, has been a really interesting exercise. On one hand, there are young families discussing the fear they feel living in big cities like New York and Washington DC. On the other hand, there are other grown adults practically mocking this concern. They seem to be of the belief crime is to be expected if you live in a city and the 'whiners' should get over themselves.

On one hand, there are mothers who live in the DC area sharing their lived experience.

On the other, there is a NYT journalist who apparently believes people like Lindsay are just lying liars who lie. (Spoiler Alert: Peter is wrong)

Oh, also the police say crime is a huge issue. They probably know more than random reporters.

The Left isn't upset that Trump is deploying troops to L.A. and D.C. because it's "authoritarian" or "fascist."

They're upset because a Republican is helping people in a bad situation that Democrats created and refused to fix.

At the end of the day, this is ultimately the reason the Left is crashing out. They don't want a Republican, any Republican but particularly Trump, to fix the issues. They care more about that than protecting citizens. That is the sad part.
