Today, we have covered the monstrosity that was the White House Correspondents' Dinner last night. It was full of self-congratulatory nonsense, when in all reality, they should all be holding their heads in shame. Alex Thompson of Axios was the only journalist who kind of broached the subject in his acceptance speech for his award. A funny side note ... Alex followed me all of election season. When I called him out for publishing a book on Biden's cognitive decline with Jake Tapper, and the hypocrisy of it all, he immediately unfollowed me. So, clearly, he does have very tender feelings.

Alex also is butt hurt at Fox for calling him out. Not sure what he finds 'bad faith' about the way Fox framed the speech. It's exactly right. He just doesn't want to admit it. To be fair, he was one of the only Corporate Media journalists who would say ANYTHING at all negative about Biden and then Kamala, but the bar is basically in hell. Alex lost all credibility when he published a book with Jake Tapper. Jake was so dishonest. Alex published the book with Jake for the clout Jake brings to the project. When you lay down with dogs, you have to share the fleas.

People laugh and mock this, and truly, they deserve it, but to me, it's infuriating. These people think they are so much better than independent journalists or journalists for conservative sites, when they willingly lied for the Biden Administration. They are no better than state media. The only difference is now that a Republican is in charge, they no longer cover for the President in the White House, but they do everything in their power to ostracize the Administration.

The other infuriating part was watching April Ryan roll her eyes when Alex Thompson quite politely called his colleagues out for failing to take accountability for not covering Biden truthfully. She is one of the WORST offenders and she sees nothing wrong with her behavior. It's maddening.

Honestly, none of them deserve to keep their jobs. All of the newsrooms should be cleaned out and they should start all over. That is the only way to regain the trust of the public.
