French president to award the country's highest award to American train heroes; Updated

On Monday, French President François Hollande will meet with the two American soldiers who neutralized a potential attack yesterday on a train traveling from Paris to Amsterdam. They will also be receiving France’s highest award.

Here’s the official tweet from Hollande:

Well deserved honor.

Update:

It looks as if the attack was over a robbery.

Editor’s note:  We have updated this post to read that Hollande will meet with the two heroes, and not be giving the award. We have also updated the post with an additional tweet indicating that the attack was over a robbery and not terrorism. We apologize for any confusion.
