You just can’t make this up. . .
The State Department tweeted out an explainer on the Super Bowl to its international audience:
The Super Bowl is today, and it is likely to again be the most watched television program of the year in the U.S. Learn more about this iconic American event and why the Super Bowl is like a “cultural holiday” from @ShareAmerica: https://t.co/xTrSGAfVgA

You know, maybe the State Department should be a little more focused on Russia/Ukraine?
State Dept posts primer to the world explaining Super Bowl. May be of help to Russian troops on Ukraine border. https://t.co/3ZP0usfDhU

Meanwhile, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked President Joe Biden to visit Ukraine in a bid to ease tensions:
Ukraine says President Zelenskyy in his call today invited Biden to visit Kyiv & encouraged him to come “in the coming days”

But “US officials have said such a visit is exceedingly unlikely,” according to CNN’s Kevin Liptak:
President Zelensky invited Biden to visit Ukraine on their call today, saying his arrival in Kyiv would “be a powerful signal and contribute to de-escalation.” US officials have said such a visit is exceedingly unlikely.

Exit question: Should Biden go (or send Vice President Kamala Harris)?
It would send a message, that’s for sure:
