Another day, another scandal with Gov. Andrew Cuomo, this time over a report that his office leaked the personnel files of former staffer Lindsey Boylan — a charge his office does not deny:
Who leaked @LindseyBoylan's “personnel files” in December? Boylan’s lawyer points the finger at Andrew Cuomo. His office doesn’t deny it. A source says the leak may well be part of the AG's probe.

You see, according to Cuomo’s spox, it’s necessary from time to time to release the personal details of a former employee to set the record straight:
The governor’s office is not denying that they leaked the personnel record of former Cuomo aide @LindseyBoylan, who recently alleged that the Governor sexually harassed her. https://t.co/RhLoGqw6P8 pic.twitter.com/Z9wbX7Ozhr

Cuomo has a long history of retaliating against those who cross him. “They can run over you like you’re a freaking speed bump,” one ex-state employee said.

“It’s the private use of government property–that personnel file–all for the personal sue of defending Cuomo against allegations that are harmful to him” is something that Joon Kim, the former SDNY prosecutor tasked with investigating the governor just might be interested in:
“It’s a private use of government property—that personnel file—all for the personal use of defending Cuomo against allegations that are harmful to him,” one lawyer said. “There is no legit way to characterize that. It’s just an abuse of power.”https://t.co/iUCbKJ7N76

Tick-tock, governor:
“There’s no question he would know about it, and direct it,” one former senior official in the Cuomo administration said. “That’s how he would think.” https://t.co/iUCbKJ7N76
