From the Maritime Post:
At least two crew members have died and six remain unaccounted for after a Ukrainian-owned cargo ship sank in bad weather in the Black Sea off Turkey. Five people have been rescued and two bodies have been recovered from the wreck of the general cargo ship Arvin, which is registered under the flag of the country of Palau.
The ship was heading for Bulgaria from Georgia when it sank. Black Sea region has been hit by heavy rains, snow, and strong winds in recent days.
The ship was built in 1975 and it’s pretty clear it “was not seaworthy”:
Half the crew died in this. This ship was not seaworthy. It was Palau flagged. Russian and Ukrainian crew..
What a disgrace. https://t.co/YXAoPza92c

The seas don’t even look that rough:
It should go without saying, your keel shouldn't just snap in two just because you are in moderately rough weather.

What a tragedy:
The ship, named M/V ARVIN, sank off the Inkumu Coast of the northern, Bartin province. Rescue teams have so far managed to rescue 6 of 12 crew members – all Ukrainian nationals – and reached the lifeless bodies of 4 others. But the search and rescue phase is not completed yet. pic.twitter.com/A8aQYxUarD
