AG William Barr testifies on the ongoing investigation of the FISA process

During today’s testimony in front of the House Appropriation Committee, AG William Barr gave an update on the ongoing Office of Inspector General investigation into the issuance of FISA warrants, saying the “process should be finished by May or June”:

Barr also told Rep. Aderholt (R-AL) that he is taking criminal referrals sent to the DOJ to investigate leaking seriously:

Aderholt: Are you investigating who leaked the existence of a FISA order against Carter Page?

Barr: I haven’t seen the referrals yet from Congressman Nunes, but obviously, if there is a predicate for an investigation, it will be conducted.
