With all the news and all, we’re seeing many Never Trumpers call for the impeachment of Donald Trump. For example, the New York Times’ Bret Stephens:
I've been skeptical about the wisdom and merit of impeachment. Cohen's guilty plea changes that. The president is clearly guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. He should resign his office or be impeached and removed from office. https://t.co/N23Z6vlfZa

Bill Kristol is already planning for Pence’s pardons:
You think yesterday was lit? You haven’t seen anything yet. Wait till the day next year when President Pence pardons Donald Trump.

And, of course, Jennifer Rubin, thinks Pence can save the GOP:
The's R's would do better in Nov. with President Pence than with President Trump. #justsaying

But what do liberals think? Here’s Sally Kohn, predicting a return to the “Dark Ages” if Trump is impeached:
Straightforward from here:
1. Indict and impeach Trump
2. President Pence
3. Dark Ages— Sally Kohn (@sallykohn) August 22, 2018
Maybe the worse it gets for Trump, the more likely he gets libs to support him?

Hey, we’d be OK with it. Just saying:

Well, not every lib, of course is against impeachment, despite how much they despise the current vice president:
Pence is a meglomaniac, but of a different, more stable sort
Pence could probably be appealed to, in some areas, on "traditional" bi-partisan grounds
Trump is already waving through most of the radical evangelical platform, certainly on the judicial frontWelcome to my Ted Talk

And for those who dream of both Pence and Trump getting impeached, there’s always President Jim Jordan:
Vote for Dems this November to rule out a government led by Trump, McConnell, and Jordan, poised to become POTUS if both Trump and Pence were to be removed. Just imagine “President Jim Jordan.” That should motivate you! https://t.co/wRwaMjDsal
