Local law enforcement and the FBI just wrapped up a news conference detailing the latest on yesterday’s shooting in San Bernardino and this caught our eye. Suspect Tashfeen Malik — wife of Syed Rizwan Farook — was in the U.S. on a K-1 Visa (Nonimmigrant Visa for a Fiancé) and a Pakistani passport:
FBI AD both suspects came into US from abroad Jul 2014, she was not yet his wife, thry had baby together, he was US person, she on k1 visa

Woman involved in #SanBernadinoShooting held a K1 Visa. Certainly we should expect to see #GOP support for temp freeze of K1 Visa process?

FBI spokesperson calls this "obvious preplanning." Syed is a US citizen, his wife is on a K1 Visa. Got married here after returning in 2014.

The FBI has yet to determine a clear motive, but Jake Tapper did report a possible connection to known terrorists. A real shocker, we know:
Farook was in touch with more than one terrorism subject whom the FBI were already investigating, law enforcement sources tell CNN

Law enforcement sources tell Brown/Perez: Syed Farook appears to have been radicalized, thou workplace grievances may also have played role

Over to you, FBI. How’d they miss these guys?
