Oh really? Police say Vester Lee Flanagan 'closely identified' with the 9/11 attackers

Now this is disturbing.

According to law enforcement officials in Virginia, Vester Lee Flanagan — the man who killed two journalists and shot a woman they were interviewing during a live broadcast on Wednesday — “closely identified” with the 9/11 hijackers as well as the “perpetrators of … other domestic acts of terrorism”:

Although there was some confusion regarding what the police meant in the press release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office:

And new evidence suggests that Flanagan was attempting to escape before taking his own life:
