For many, tamales on Christmas Day is a tradition. We just didn’t expect that it was Sen. Kamala Harris’ family tradition…

She’s running, obviously:

For what it’s worth, this is the first time she’s tweeted about one of her “mother’s recipes” or “tamales.” Last year, there was no behind-the-scenes with the Harris family, just the generic card:
