The Left's anti-Trump outrage cycle moves faster than Ilhan Omar's accountants after realizing they've made a financial filings "mistake."
Over the weekend The Atlantic published a story featuring claims from nothing but anonymous sources who fed a "reporter" what seems to be a BS buffet of allegations that FBI Director Kash Patel has a drinking problem to the point of being passed out in locked rooms that need to be breached. All that stems from one video of Patel celebrating with the USA hockey team after the gold medal win earlier this year.
That already seems like old "news," however, because we're starting the week with some fresh "fake news" to deal with. Here's another one about SecWar Pete Hegseth:
Insiders have revealed shocking new details about Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s petty feud with a perceived rival that led to the ousting of a four-star general in the middle of President Donald Trump’s war on Iran. https://t.co/QquGjBZ2Ig

Not unlike using antibiotics for too long, the word "shocking" no longer has the desired effect.
But the TDS Left must be getting confused because the hit pieces are coming at them fast and furious. The latest latest one is based on a Wall Street Journal report that claims military advisers and leadership went full Mean Girls on Trump and excluded him from the command room during the rescue of a downed airman inside Iran:

Military advisers intentionally excluded Trump from the command room during the recent high-stakes extraction of a downed American airman in Iran, fearing his erratic temper would jeopardize the mission, according to a WSJ report.https://t.co/DOTc2taxNI

When did the Wall Street Journal start competing with the Daily Beast?
The extraction was a success so they have to convince everybody Trump had nothing to do with it. Everybody sees how this works, right? When something goes bad they'll make sure Trump was personally directing the entire operation, and when things to right they'll report he had nothing to do with it.
But the real purpose of stories like that is of course to get TDS lefties on social media hyperventilating, and that's predictably what's happening:
If the military can’t trust Donald Trump to not screw up important missions because he’s so erratic, then neither should we.

25TH AMENDMENT NOW!!!
This is the world these people simultaneously exist in:
"Trump's an autocratic dictator who personally controls everything and is going to get us all killed."
"Trump's not allowed to participate in military planning."
They've sure got all the bases covered there. But they had to come up with the above story so as to not give Trump any credit for a successful rescue, but the Left would really like everybody to believe that military leadership put boots on the ground in Iran without the knowledge or approval of the Commander in Chief. If the rescue had gone bad the headline would have been "Trump personally controlled every aspect of the mission."
The TDS Media should try to stop being so predictable (they won't).
