Part of President Trump's appeal with his base has always included one thing: Wherever he goes, he's always Donald Trump. If he goes to farm country he doesn't put on coveralls and hold a pitchfork, etc. The only exceptions to that have been when he trolled Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by riding in a garbage truck and then this classic:

All that has contributed to Trump's appeal with the working class, which is why it's pathetic when career politicians like Sen. Chuck Schumer try to portray the president as out of touch and inauthentic. Such was the case when Schumer

Perhaps Trump knows them as bodegas, or maybe he was just joking. Either way, Schumer taking a jab at anybody else for being inauthentic is a total joke:

This is one of the Democrats who thought Kamala Harris choosing Tim Walz as her running mate would make her campaign more appealing to midwestern men. And with those kinds of grilling skills I can't believe I ever doubted Chuck!

Trump "worked" at a McDonald's so he no doubt knows that the cheese doesn't go on when the burger patty is still raw. There were about a hundred others giving Chuck the same self-awareness check and he deserved it.
