Elon Musk getting rid of legacy blue checkmarks (not counting the few Musk is personally paying to keep) has caused quite a triggering.
One of the more dramatic blue check removal meltdowns came courtesy of Bette Midler who doesn’t at all seem to be happy with what Elon Musk has done with the platform. Life among the peasants seems to be problematic:
