House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will have to turn over her gavel to a Republican very soon, and as you might have guessed during her farewell speech yesterday she kept it 100 percent classy.
Just kidding!
Pelosi of course had to take a swipe at Trump:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ignored former President Donald Trump in her farewell speech to Congress on Thursday.
The Democratic icon expressed how honored she felt to have served alongside Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, but didn’t mention Trump at all. Pelosi stated Thursday in a speech on the House floor that she plans to stay in Congress, but will no longer seek leadership positions in the Democratic caucus.
“I have enjoyed working with three presidents, achieving historic investments in clean energy with President George Bush; transformative health care reform with President Barack Obama, and forging the future — from infrastructure to health care to climate action — with President Joe Biden,” Pelosi stated.
I can also vividly remember Pelosi tearing up a copy of Trump’s State of the Union speech right behind him at the end of a State of the Union address, but they say HE’S the one with no decorum or respect for norms?
Add it all up and Nancy Pelosi has been a nasty politician for a long time, which means the lib media adores her.
This brings us to MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, who apparently was trying to set a new projection record by diagnosing people who don’t fawn all over Pelosi as being members of some sort of anti-Nancy cult:
