Decision Desk HQ has yet to call the Arizona gubernatorial primary for Kari Lake over Karrin Robson, but it’s looking like the Trump-endorsed candidate is going to win.
Earlier last evening, Meghan McCain seemed certain of a Karrin Robson victory as evidenced by a now-deleted tweet:
Hi @MeghanMcCain. Why did you delete this?🤔 pic.twitter.com/0SBRn9Qyd9

Now that it’s looking like Lake will win, McCain isn’t happy with the direction she sees Arizona heading:
I see my initial predictions were right despite the initial excitement of Robson pulling ahead –
Congratulations to my home state for full making the transition to full blown MAGA/conspiracy theory/fraudster.
The voters have spoken – be careful what you wish for…

Wow, that went from an election celebration to eulogizing Arizona in record time.
Honest question, if you haven’t voted for a Republican for president in the general the last 4 presidential election cycles, are you really republican?

The same question could be asked of many “Never Trump Republicans.”
They're really mad you're not buying it. That's what the whole @January6thCmte is about. You don't get to think things.

Imagine the reaction from the “Never Trump Republican” crowd after Rep. Liz Cheney loses her primary in Wyoming two weeks from yesterday.
Editor’s note: This post has been updated to correct an error that said Lake was running for Senate. Lake is of course running for governor.
