The Biden White House must sense that they’re losing Big Labor support (along with support from just about everybody else other than their most loyal base), because the @POTUS account had several tweets this morning sucking up to unions. Here are three examples:
I promised I would be the most pro-union president in our history.
That’s another promise I am keeping.
— President Biden (@POTUS) July 6, 2022
I promised I'd fight like hell to protect union workers.
The American Rescue Plan's Special Financial Assistance program represents millions of union pensions protected, one of the most significant achievements for union workers and retirees in fifty years, and a promise kept.

Imagine working 40 or 50 years. Working hard. Doing everything right to provide for your family. And your pension goes insolvent through no fault of your own.
I did something about it.
The Butch Lewis Act will keep multiemployer plans solvent for decades to come – until 2051.

One of those tweets had Charles Payne dropping a reality check about what Biden and his policies have actually done:
With all due respect your free money gimmicks have wrecked the best retirement formula out there. The 60-40 portfolio has suffered profoundly devastating & histotic loss.
By the way why are union members the only blue workers that deserve a nice retirement? https://t.co/OkHyMQo6SL

At this point the Biden WH is just trying to save their union endorsements. Non-union working Americans aren’t on their “priorities” radar.
Preach it Charles! How about all of us who were NOT in a union, did the right thing by saving in our 401K’s to have a nice retirement and our absolutely getting hammered?

Bingo!! https://t.co/hbcApuO7Cf

Biden sinks retirement accounts for many and then brags about using taxpayer dollars to save union pensions. Just amazing.
