We told you over the weekend that Dr. Anthony Fauci said it’s “too soon to tell” if it’ll be safe to gather with family for the coming holidays. Here’s what Fauci said:

Fast forward one day, and it appears that there’s some backpedaling and spin going on:
Dr. Fauci: “I will be spending Christmas with my family. I encourage people — particularly the vaccinated people who are protected — to have a good, normal Christmas with your family.”

Is Fauci (and this administration) following the science, or the polling?
Did the science change in the last 24 hours or did his previous statement not play well politically? https://t.co/QJU58n8Tz7

That was quite a speedy one-eighty from Fauci.
Fauci @NIH changes his mind & the "science" of this virus quicker than he changes his underwear. https://t.co/Eyg6kKFEAu

And who knows, maybe Fauci will change his mind yet again. There’s still plenty of time.
