Uh oh! Seth MacFarlane pours cold water on 'Oprah 2020' cheerleaders

Oprah Winfrey’s “your truth” (!?) speech at the Golden Globe Awards Sunday night had Hollywood liberals (as well as some in the media and many others) cheering and calling for her to run for president in 2020. Seth MacFarlane is not on board:

Oprah is beyond doubt a magnificent orator. But the idea of a reality show star running against a talk show host is troublingly dystopian. We don’t want to create a world where dedicated public service careers become undesirable and impractical in the face of raw celebrity.
