Jim Acosta's 1-man 'fact check' on Trump & Warren avoids the most fact checkable doozy of all

As Twitchy has reported, earlier today, President Trump again referred to Sen. Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas,” this time at a White House event honoring Native American code talkers. The White House said the name applied to Warren isn’t a racial slur. CNN’s Jim Acosta decided to do a fact check on that:

Trump, at event with Navajo Code Talkers at WH, makes "Pocahontas" crack about Senator Warren. There was silence in the room. Per pool.

WH press sec says "Pocahontas" is not a racial slur. (Fact check: it is.) https://t.co/tRW5H7ILcn

Would the MSM care to do a careful fact check of the reason Trump refers to Warren by using that name?

Fact check: She's white.

Code Talkers probably aren't big fans of white people using their ethnicity for personal gain either.

It *may* have been a racial slur if Sen. Warren was, in fact, an American Indian.

A white woman claiming to be Cherokee is not only a racial slur against the Cherokee nation but it is BLATANT cultural appropriation. Get your PC straight, @Acosta ! https://t.co/KaWibrSvWL

Elizabeth Warren claimed to be Native American. (Fact check: She isn't.) https://t.co/NNIMgqoL9D

That’s a follow-up “fact check” that won’t be seen from many in the MSM.
