John Conyers thanks Azealia Banks for promoting his reparations bill

Rapper Azealia Banks helped Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., promote H.R. 40, the Commission to Study Reparation Proposals for African Americans Act.

Banks has “joked” about killing some “crackers in their sleep,” but Conyers (or somebody in his office) appreciated the promotion regardless of the rapper’s controversial nature:

Conyers has introduced the bill in every Congress since 1989, according to his website.
