'What point are you trying to make?' Joyce Carol Oates deletes tweet imagining a Texas-sized Israel

Author Joyce Carol Oates has deleted a tweet in which she tried to imagine what things would be like if Israel were a much larger country:

Hmm, what could have prompted Oates to delete that tweet?

@JoyceCarolOates What does this even mean? I mean, size of Texas would mean lower population density obviously. Other than that, I'm lost.

It was possibly a “point” Oates wasn’t comfortable trying to explain.
