Georgia Democrat Michelle Nunn is running for a U.S. Senate seat against Republican David Perdue.
With all that’s going on in the Middle East, voters might wonder: What’s Nunn’s position on Israel? Well, give her campaign a few dollars and she might tell you:
Michelle Nunn message on Israel "TBD," but ability to fundraise among Jews will "depend on" it – http://t.co/V9ZCSy6BAQ

National Review’s Eliana Johnson obtained an internal memo posted online earlier this year saying that Michelle Nunn’s position on Israel is yet to be determined until the level of financial support she’ll receive from the Jewish community is known:

Not exactly a “firm commitment,” is it?
What makes the Nunn memo so damning is that it's mainstream Democrat political calculus. "Minority" issues are little more than PIN numbers.

Nunn is CEO of the Points of Light Foundation, and Eliana Johnson pointed out that the internal documents show that Points of Light gave a grant to an organization with ties to Hamas.

"Hey, we need a way to hide that the group you work for has given funds to terrorists." – Michelle Nunn's strategists.

Michelle Nunn memo pretty explicitly implies she should take a pro-Israel position to help her fundraise with Jews http://t.co/VDt108x7y2

As it clearly states, Jews = $$ MT @EWErickson Michelle Nunn helped fund Hamas allies, now to be pro-Israel bc of fundraising potential

Jewish voters weren’t the only demographic reportedly studied by the Nunn campaign:
RT @Timodc: Jews provide "financial opportunity”. Asians are "very tight" per Michelle Nunn campaign memo http://t.co/ummVwOhu4s

The Nunn campaign’s reaction to this is not unlike their position on Israel: TBD:
.@MichelleNunnGA's campaign is declining to comment on the leaked document on the record.

We can’t be sure what’s going on at Nunn’s office, but “mad scramble” might be an accurate guess.
