Shorter Obama: You stupid individual market consumers can't possibly have liked the plans you can't keep anymore.

President Obama’s “if you like your plan, you can keep it” promise recently received four Pinocchios from the Washington Post’s fact checker, but the president is moving forward undaunted. Today, during a speech on the health care law in Massachusetts, Obama doubled down on “if you like your plan you can keep it”—with some fresh caveats.
Obama's new line: If you like your healthcare plan – AND IT'S WORKING – you can keep it.

Ah, we see what he did there.
However, Obama’s new phrasing is that he told the truth about “if you like your existing plan you can keep it” in 2010, but that insurance companies moved the goal posts, and besides, you didn’t like your old plan anyway:
Obama now defending his "if you like your plan, you can keep it" claim.
Says you only can't keep it b/c insurers changed the policy.

After glossing over why “if you like you plan you can keep it” wasn’t a lie even though people are losing their existing plans in droves, Obama went on to say that if you lose your plan, that’s a good thing because you can go get better coverage cheaper:
Obama redefines "if U like plan, U can keep it" promise: U can keep your substandard plan unless insurer drops it. Then U get better plan

Strange. It wasn’t phrased this way before the ACA became law.
"If you like your plan, you may have to shop around." — Something Obama never-ever-ever said ever.

Until today, but of course Obama promised your “new” plan will be cheaper, which is of course another lie:
Relax..my plan will be cheaper? How dare you lie to me again #obama. Mine is DOUBLING and I have to pay myself less to get #subsidy #migop
