'Unspeakably horrifying': BBC, tweeters report numerous sexual assaults in Cairo's Tahrir Square

Millions are taking to the streets of Cairo, Egypt to demand the resignation of President Mohamed Morsi. Unfortunately, not unlike the November 2012 protests, there are reports of horrific violence against women:

30 reported cases of mass sexual assault in #Tahrir & it looks likely to be more. The area is not safe & we recommend leaving if possible.

Later that number had risen:

There have been at least 42 *reported* cases of sexual harassment and assault on women in Tahrir today. Unspeakably horrifying.
