President Trump tweeting Saturday morning that Rep. Elijah Cummings’ district in Baltimore is a “rodent infested mess” where “no human being would want to live” had a CNN contributor claiming that whenever the president speaks of “infestation” he’s referring to “black and brown people.”
However, American Urban Radio Networks White House reporter and CNN contributor April Ryan took Trump’s claim about rodents at face value, but she also tried to tell Trump that the place where he currently lives is at least just as bad:
The White House is infested with mice. Mice traps all over the place. We see dead mice in traps and mice running around a lot. Stink bugs infest the East Wing and what else??? Too much to tweet. @realDonaldTrump must be talking about where he lives instead of Baltimore!

Although Ryan’s tweet arrived much to the delight of fellow Resistors (as evidenced by the many replies), it was even more evidence that “Journalism” in the Trump era has taken a turn.
