As Twitchy told you earlier today, the Associated Press said they’d deleted a tweet about President Trump using the word “animals” in reference to MS-13 gang members. The original AP tweet, as so many in the media have done, didn’t provide full context and insinuated Trump was referring to all illegal immigrants:
AP has deleted a tweet from late Wednesday on Trump’s “animals” comment about immigrants because it wasn’t made clear that he was speaking after a comment about gang members.

Really? Michelle Malkin helped the AP make that explanation even more honest:
Don't you love the passive-voice blame avoidance?
Let me fix it for you:
AP has deleted a tweet from late Wednesday on Trump’s “animals” comment about immigrants because AGENDA-DRIVEN AP DIDN'T MAKE CLEAR that he was speaking after a comment about gang members. https://t.co/7Ay8UXhNbL

Fixed it for ya, AP!
Did those fools even listen to the comments from the LEO abt inmates in custody caught committing crimes & being prohibited to allow ICE in to question them? He was talking about Illegal Criminals (I know, redundant) rather than those who want to contribute? https://t.co/s7FCCjzps8

Mistakes were made. Which were admitted only after it was impossible to avoid doing so. https://t.co/HSOqDwb10i

If very few people would have said anything after the original tweet, what are the odds it would have ever been deleted?
