The other day New Orleans Saints interim head coach Joe Vitt tried assuring fans that star quarterback Drew Brees WILL play for the team this upcoming season whether he gets the long-term deal he wants or not.
When answering questions from the media, Coach Vitt tried being a comedian.
“I feel confident he’s going to be here,” Vitt said. “He’ll be here.”
I asked why Vitt was so confident.
“What else is he going to do, he can’t sing or dance,” Vitt said, drawing laughter.
Oh no he didn’t!
You can critique Brees’ quarterbacking skills all you want, but don’t you DARE say the man can’t sing or dance!
On the contrary Joe Vitt, you have obviously never seen me karaoke! As for dancing, @LanceMoore ain't got nothing on me

So there you have it, folks! If the Saints don’t show Brees the money, he may very well sit out the season and join the new cast of “Dancing With the Stars” or focus on his singing career.
@drewbrees Don't u dare let the saints take advantage of u. You better not show up until there is a new contract in place. I don't care when

PAY THE MAN. I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS EVEN A PROBLEM @drewbrees

@drewbrees @LanceMoore I hope the contract dispute works out soon, definately want to see you leading your team for a long time coming

@drewbrees Don't touch the field until you get a contract. Don't allow them to disrespect a Hall of Fame QB.

@drewbrees Epic tweet from an Epic man. I think you should get paid as much as you deserve just because of that tweet.

@drewbrees Make 'em pay you what you deserve. Wish Miami would have.
