As our own Doug Powers reported earlier, the media are slow to give up the "lynching" narrative, even though a third suspect — another black man — has been arrested in the death of Tasia Fortune. As I reported on Saturday, Fox 5 in Atlanta reported that a Mississippi detective testified that Fortune was killed during a drug dispute before her body was placed in a tree in what authorities described as a staged hanging. I haven't heard any autopsy results, but it's looking as though Fortune was murdered, and her dead body was then strung up by three black men to make it look like, as AOC said, another incident of "racial terror."
In an earlier post, I mentioned how children's entertainer and now political pundit Ms. Rachel posted a video in which she lamented the lynching of black people along with Haitians being fitted with ankle monitors (at least she didn't call them "shackles" like some people).

Forgive me if I've been going on about the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells, whose family lucked out to retain Benjamin Crump as their attorney. As I reported, a grand jury heard from 43 witnesses and determined that there was no sign of foul play related to Wells' death. Rep. Frederica Wilson met with his parents "and the parents of murdered young boys." Extreme Hakeem Jeffries was also skeptical of the grand jury's findings — why would Wells leave his keys, his wallet, and his cell phone on the boat? Maybe because he was going in the water for a swim?
Some pop culture account I've never heard of is quoting Ms. Rachel now as saying, "Nolan Wells didn't drown." A suggested Community Note says she posted it on Threads … remember Threads?
