Whenever I write a post about California State Senator Scott Wiener, I always feel the need to wipe down my keyboard with a Clorox wipe afterward. No, he didn't legalize pedophilia with his bill … he just allowed judges discretion in deciding whether to require sex offender registration for young adults "convicted of consensual vaginal intercourse with minors aged 14-17, aiming to address disparities in treatment compared to other sexual acts, particularly affecting LGBTQ+ individuals," according to Grok. Speaking of the age of consent, he also fought for 12-year-olds to get the COVID-19 vaccine without parental permission.

So I was not alone when I was creeped out to see Wiener participating in an ELEMENTARY SCHOOL anti-ICE walkout. Some parents aren't happy with schools letting students walk out of the building and march to, say, the Capitol or State House building. As I wrote earlier, one parent was considering suing the school for letting her high-school-age daughter walk out into traffic and get hit by a car.
