As our own Doug Powers reported last week, totally unbiased journalist Scott Pelley of "60 Minutes" gave the commencement address at Wake Forest University, telling the graduates that they were "the fierce defenders of democracy, the seekers of truth,” and “the vanguard against ignorance” that’s taken over the country. I wonder who he was referring to?
Additional video of Pelley's speech has surfaced, with Pelley warning the graduates that "journalism is under attack" along with universities and freedom of speech.
🚨CBS/60 Minutes’ Scott Pelley raged at Trump in angry, unhinged commencement address at Wake Forest:

"In this moment, this morning, our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack."
"And… pic.twitter.com/v8hagfQjbT
The post continues:
… insidious fear is reaching through our schools. Our businesses, our homes and into our private thoughts. The fear to speak in America!"
As he speaks openly and freely in America.
This self-important, sermonizing propagandist is what passes for a legacy media “journalist."
"An insidious fear is reaching into our private thoughts" … speak for yourself, Pelley. TDS is a horrible mental illness.
Tiffany Justice, co-founder of the "far-right extremist group" Moms for Liberty, remembers when she was invited on "60 Minutes" to be interviewed by Pelley.
I read porn from public school library books to @ScottPelley, who listened with his glasses tucked between his lips.

He edited out that part of the @60Minutes interview to make our concerns seem unfounded.
Scott is a liar and fraud. https://t.co/ZFKufkkZip
He is a liar and a fraud. Imagine "60 Minutes" doing selective editing; for example, to make a presidential candidate sound intelligent.
He's a fraud. He tries to come across as something he's not - fair-minded. The 'editing' process his interviews go through is so massive the end product is unrecognizable to the interviewee. And the '60 Minutes' staff think this is acceptable.

Unreal.
Fortunately, legacy media dinosaurs like Pelley are becoming less and less relevant. We're sorry Wake Forest couldn't get someone good to give the commencement address.
