Tulsi Gabbard's Confirmation Vote Delayed Due to Dusting of Snow

ImgFlip

I live in an area with a lot of snow. We're expected to get two inches of snow overnight tonight and another three to four inches on Thursday. We'll all drive to work and break out the snow brush and ice scraper if needed.

I was ready to cover Tusli Gabbard's confirmation to Director of National Intelligence tonight, but now I'm hearing that the vote is delayed until 11 a.m. tomorrow.

Wow, look at all that snow!

I remember three weeks ago when President Donald Trump was considered a wuss for moving his inauguration ceremony inside because of cold temperatures. Susan Rice simply posted, "SNOWFLAKES." Sen. Chris Murphy posted that Trump moved the inauguration indoors "because the Mall was going to be empty and totally embarrassing."

Suddenly everyone was a weather expert and a historian. Don Lemon posted a video where he must have Googled the temperatures of other inaugurations. Did you know it was only 9 degrees when Ronald Reagan was sworn in for his second term? Lemon didn't mention that they moved that event inside also.

So Trump and his guests were "snowflakes" for moving the ceremony indoors. But the Senate can't vote this evening because of a little dusting of snow? Really? Y'all in D.C. are soft.

They could have. But it looks like they're stalling instead.
