Video Captures Gaza's Stunning Beauty Before the IDF Turned It to Rubble

I learned yesterday that 40 percent of House Democrats sent a letter to President Joe Biden urging him to place an arms embargo on Israel. Sure, they spend the entire first paragraph denouncing the Hamas terrorist attack of October 7, but think of the poor Palestinians. "We are also deeply troubled by the continued level of civilian casualties and humanitarian suffering in Gaza," they write.

I've been assured by many liberals that Hamas was somewhat justified in killing 1,200 innocent Israeli civilians and kidnapping 235 people, many of whom are still in captivity over a year later. I find it hard to gin up any sympathy for the Palestinians because Hamas, which they voted into power, asked for this war. What did they think was going to happen after October 7?

How was Hamas justified? Because the people of Gaza had been living in an "open-air prison." But that doesn't square with this video Ihab Hassan posted Friday showing the "stunning beauty" of Gaza before the war it started.

Yeah, your boys probably shouldn't have killed all of those Israelis.

It doesn't look like an open-air prison.

Hamas could have stopped the war at any time by surrendering and releasing the hostages.

Maybe don't start a war with a vastly superior military.

This video isn't at all how I'd pictured Gaza. Thanks for clearing up that it wasn't an open-air prison.
