Elon Musk Calls the New York Times a Threat to Democracy

Twitter

I loved the media freakout when President Donald Trump called the mainstream media "fake news." It was an attack on a free press. CNN's Jim Acosta feared for his life at Trump rallies as the crowd chanted "CNN sucks!"

As I wrote earlier, journalists think they're going to be in prison cells in six months if Trump wins reelection. They really overestimate their importance. Trump will win, and the mainstream media will spend four years attacking him. Trust in the mainstream media is even lower than it was in 2016 — what stories are they going to make up?

As we reported Monday, Ben Shapiro shared a text from a reporter from the New York Times who was going to do a hit piece on all conservative media personalities, exposing their conspiracy theories. Using research from far-left Media Matters for America, the Times was going to pressure YouTube into demonetizing conservatives' videos. As we reported earlier today, Tucker Carlson got the same text from the Times reporter, asking if he wanted to comment on all of the lies uncovered by Media Matters.

Benny Johson got the text too:

In short:

As much as the Left calls Donald Trump and MAGA a threat to democracy, Elon Musk gave it right back to them and called the New York Times a threat to democracy.

I agree. They're working with Media Matters to deplatform conservatives.

That would be great if Musk purchased the Times and then cleaned house like he did at Twitter.

Take Trump's stint at a Pennsylvania McDonald's. The Times went to a McDonald's in Manhattan and had workers critique Trump's french fry technique. They can't help themselves.
