“Three Democrats” has been trending on Twitter all day so we might as well get to it. As Twitchy reported, after a trans shooter murdered six people at a Christian school in Tennessee, anti-gun protesters stormed the Tennessee State Capitol — to many, it looked a lot like an insurrection. Three House Democrats, according to NBC News, “participated in a gun control protest,” meaning they broke the rules and disrupted proceedings:

Here’s NBC News’ take on the “protest” and the consequences:
BREAKING: Tennessee House Republicans vote to expel the first of three Democratic lawmakers after they participated in a gun control protest at the state Capitol following the Nashville school shooting. https://t.co/XjUhpYlj9Z pic.twitter.com/FZHpqqNBou

That makes it sound like they left the building and joined the protesters who held up seven fingers to honor the “seven” victims of the mass shooting. No, it was more like an insurrection.
This is fascism.
Expelling your political opponents for demanding action on gun violence when children are dying is disgusting. https://t.co/Vc9UQljiaj

Long overdue. Get rid of them all

Pretty sure it was for breaking house rules, disrupting proceedings and inviting protesters into the chamber.
But them darn fascists I tell you!

Everything you disagree with is fascism, Rashida.

There are consequences for breaking the rules.

The Biden White House is also “shocked.”
The White House called the move by Republicans to expel the "Tennessee Three" from the state legislature "shocking" and "undemocratic." https://t.co/xgQ7T3Z5KB

Looks pretty insurrectionish to me.

Insurrections have consequences.

Seems like it's being done democratically.

Insurrections = good now. https://t.co/5iT7lo23nY

Democrats are so used to not being held accountable for anything, they don’t know how to react when they are.

Actually, using a mob to take over the legislature and then shouting down your colleagues with a bullhorn while they have to flee is fascism, Rashida.
This vote to expel him is democracy. It's literally democracy.

One of the insurrectionists, Rep. Gloria Johnson, got some helpful advice from HR:
I just had a visit from the head of HR and the House ethics lawyer, I appreciate them letting me know that if I am expelled, I will lose my health benefits. I also appreciate the ethics lawyer, letting me know that in one case, a member who was potentially up for expulsion
— Rep. Gloria Johnson (@VoteGloriaJ) April 5, 2023
decided to resign because if you resign, you maintain your health benefits, I appreciate that information.🤔

Heavens to Betsy, all this does not mean I am considering resigning-NEVER. I am ready to have my hearing in the public view, #LetsGo

Play stupid games. You’re an insurrectionist.

Looking forward to your indictment for leading an insurrection
Not my standards, the democrat and media standards.
This was worse than 9/11, and Pearl Harbor combined.

Let me guess, you want all January 6 participants in prison, but you should walk because you are somehow different? Enjoy obscurity.

They’re right … Democrats aren’t used to facing consequences. This is alien territory for them.
